| Key West Mist "Kea" Kea is a reg. Haflinger Mare I have owned her since she was 6 months old, and trained her myself. She will be 7 in April 2010 and has been a great all around mare. She has done some ring work, loves going trail riding, as well as gave me a lovely colt in 2008, pictured Below. Kea is a nice combination of the old style with some baroqueness and the newer refined, she has a nice head which really makes her stand out. Lines include Aristocrat TOF, Afghan II, and Stardrift to name a few. If anyone was interested in a Haflinger foal or another cross from her I would consider breeding her again. |

| Stones Edge Soldier Boy "Soldier" Soldier was a labor of love for me, he was an idea that I have had for many years and had tried once before to create with another Haflinger I owned named Mataya. She was bred to the same stallion in 2006 and she ended up getting squamous cell carcinoma in her eye and we had the eye removed, but the cancer came back and 7 months into her pregnancy I had to put her down, it was horrible. I bred Kea to that stallion in 2007 and Soldier emerged July 26, 2008, It felt like I had waited for this foal for years. He was worth the wait. Soldier is perfect great conformation, nice movement, and a superb attitude. He is a sturdy guy and put together perfectly, he just amazes me and I cannot wait to ride him and take our relationship to the next level, but for now he is doing great with ground work. |
